It’s quick and easy to set up your account with Sun Life Onboard. You’ll receive a welcome email to get started. Simply click on the link provided in the email to set up your password and verify your account. Then you're ready to get started with your onboarding your new Sun Life benefits.
Getting Started
When you log in for the first time, you’ll want to confirm that the details for your benefit implementation are correct.
Click “Get Started” to view your onboarding timeline and review your benefit details.
This includes your effective dates and policy numbers – so if you see anything that isn’t quite right, be sure to reach out to your Implementation Consultant.
Once you’ve reviewed your details, as you continue scrolling, you’ll see contact details for your Sun Life Implementation Consultant. They can help with any questions you may have throughout your onboarding with Sun Life.
Be sure to click “Continue to Info Gathering” to head to your Sun Life Onboard Dashboard and get started with your next steps.
What is included in Sun Life Onboard?
Sun Life Onboard is where you’ll see your real-time onboarding status, send information to Sun Life securely, complete forms electronically, and get access to helpful resources for you and your employees.
Sun Life helps you view all your onboarding information in one place and makes it easier to work together and collaborate with your team and your broker with full transparency.
When you are logged in to Sun Life Onboard:
A convenient Things to do list helps you gather the information you need. You can then upload everything here and come back at any time during your implementation to update.
Each area is tailored to show the information that is relevant for your Sun Life benefits implementation:
- A dashboard that highlights next steps, required information and deadlines
- A real-time view of your onboarding timeline and progress tracking
- A Claims Ready Indicator which gives you an overview of your benefits and their status, indicating if the benefit is ready or still in progress
